As a Curriculum and Induction Coach(CIC) at Orr Academy I have the privilege of working with and mentoring talented teachers everyday in helping to forge a new future for Orr Academy students. My role as a history department CIC allows me to work closely with teachers to improve upon and maintain a high standard of best practice teaching methods that reach every student's needs. By using informative data, reflective mentoring and hands-on instructional techniques the history department at Orr is poised to face the everyday challenges of urban education and create life-long learners.
